on the Debian bug tracker, however, the email link is a mess. I
can't figure out what I need to include in the email header. I
do not use any of the email possibilities that come with Firefox or
an external client. I do all my emailing from the browser (and not
Yahoo or Gmail).

690 [09:53:21] <dpkg> Debian 9.10 is scheduled to be released on
Sept 7th 2019. This point release will correct some serious bugs and
copy security updates across to the main archive. Upgrades to new
point releases are trivial to do; ask me about <point
release>.

snake scope endoscope USB cam to work with my debian, so far I have
tried vlc, webcamoid and cheese, but to no avail. Sinde I know, that
v4l2 is pretty powerful, I wonder, whether there is a way to get
this thang to output something? I know the resolution is 640x480@30
fps, 24 Bit RGB. Any suggestions, please?

2220 [22:34:41] <Habbie> Gerowen, one, it's unlikely that
Gnome can cause such a hardware lockup, or, rephrased, if Gnome can
cause such a lockup, it's a bug in a different component - the
X server, the kernel, some driver, some hardware

2227 [22:35:24] <Habbie> Gerowen, two, audio repeating on a crash
is normal behaviour for audio hardware; there's a circular
buffer that the software is supposed to 'fill up'
periodically - if that doesn't happen, the sound hardware will
just repeat what is there
2228 [22:35:44] <Habbie> Gerowen, so this tells you that the audio
driver (which lives in the kernel) has likely died, perhaps along
with most of the rest of the kernel
2229 [22:36:23] <Gerowen> I would blame Wayland since Buster
defaults to that and I left it at that, but the other 3 desktops are
all using Wayland as well with no similar issues.
2230 [22:36:30] <Habbie> Gerowen, because if it's just gnome
or X that crashes, the audio driver should still notice that
whatever plays youtube has stopped feeding it audio, and it should
stop playing that buffer
2231 [22:36:34] <Gerowen> Habbie: I'll poke through the logs
for any errors related to audio.
2232 [22:36:49] <Habbie> Gerowen, well my point is that the audio
repeating is likely just a symptom of the real problem
2233 [22:36:50] <karlpinc> Gerowen: Perhaps look at
/usr/share/doc/systemd/README.Debian and consider turning on
persistant logging.
