putting the other system in the bootloader i.e. chmod -x

/etc/default/grub results in it adding that to the menu entries, but

configure a single device. You might have to create the directory

1774 [23:11:18] <SyfiMalik> ups and downs?
1775 [23:12:28] <Brigo> SyfiMalik, no, not a all.
1776 [23:12:56] <SyfiMalik> reason plz
1777 [23:12:58] <Brigo> SyfiMalik, lots of problems, its name is
testing for a reason.
1778 [23:13:53] <Brigo> SyfiMalik, if you want to deal with broken
package, fix them send patches or just send bugs, then testing is
for you.

stable.
1781 [23:14:15] <SyfiMalik> btw I have been arch user for almost 6
months, and never faced some problem. I just installed debian cos I
got a new machine and I thought I should check it too.
1782 [23:15:18] <Brigo> SyfiMalik, nice.
1783 [23:16:08] <SyfiMalik> Brigo: people always think negative
but I don't give my comments about some distro before I check
it use it myself...

1791 [23:19:53] <SyfiMalik> debian is new for me. I started with
fedora then arch, gentoo. arch is awesome, gentoo is fuckin windows,
have to wait for compilation like windows updates. today when I was
almost done installation, I was thinking about systemd suspend on
lid close, and went for coffee. when I came back, I saw the thinkpad
was blinking :D so in debian I didn't have to configure it
myself by hand

doesn't have sound. i think you have to configure it. on debian
there is sound out of box
1798 [23:24:21] <SyfiMalik> what's sid? it's also next ?
1799 [23:24:32] <Brigo> A package is as good as its maintainers.
Debian use to have good quality, but here we are all voluntaries, so
nothing is for granted.

unstable right?
1806 [23:27:45] <Brigo> yes, and buster is testing, for now.
1807 [23:28:14] <NetTerminalGene> i hope buster will come with
wayland
1808 [23:28:18] <Brigo> at some point buster will become stable
and testing will get a new name. Unstable will be named sid for

default
1827 [23:35:19] <SyfiMalik> I think I once gave it a try. within a
